These mics took less than 10 minutes from unboxing to using. I bought these to add handheld wireless mics to our church meeting room's sound setup. We have a simple setup where we connect mics to a compressor and graphic EQ and then send the output to a powered speaker. Since we don't use a mixer and only have a 2-channel combiner, we used the mix output on the back of the unit instead of separate channels. After we set it up there was no problem with the signal in the room. As soon as we left the room and were probably 100 feet away, we got an unstable signal if there was anything between the mic and the antennas. this. After further testing we may add some more kits as we have other mics that will not work at legal frequencies later this year.
