I thought this device would be very useful when cooking because our oven temperature dials are very inaccurate (I found that out the hard way a while back, lol). I also like the size of this product - we also have the original Meatstick but I think I like this one better as it's more compact. It's easier to slip the device into any meat we're cooking than it's full size. I always have trouble with large cuts of poultry, especially when baking, and I usually have to put the food back in the oven when I think it's done. because it's not quite cooked yet. With this appliance I always have perfectly cooked meat! I can't wait to test this device with other products! :)
