I work at a small airport, outside in all weathers. I constantly have to enter the date and time in the documentation, calculate the time (mainly for determining fuel consumption) and the coefficients and unit conversions. This watch is solidly built, water-resistant, with a screw-down crown, big enough to read a calculator's face and bezel, but not too big for my average-sized wrist. The metal band is nice, double locked and doesn't pinch my hair on my wrist. All the arrows are right where you think they should be (this is my pet peeve when the hands go a little off the mark). The brightness of the dial isn't impressive, but it's enough to tell the time in a dark cinema towards the end of the film. What could be solved better is the stopwatch function: the minute hand on the sub-dial does not move once every full minute, but constantly. I think it's mechanically simpler and I can live with that, but it's far from optimal. The controls are just outrageous, you don't even need to open the manual - and as you can see, many "sports" watches have too many features. . You never use them because you need a manual every time, but you still have to flip through them every time if you want to get the features you want. This watch cuts the chaff and saves the wheat! My other competitors (I won't use expensive watches at work, but I don't want to buy shiny junk either) were some Seikos and Citizens; Some were too big for the size, some didn't have all the features, some had too many features.
