I go out a lot and have used this stylish case for my phones for many years as the design just works. The ones I used before, compared to this one, the material is thicker, denser. Overall in hand this is a better quality case/holster than my others. As I said, very well made. The material will no doubt last longer than my phone. It's thick and durable enough to withstand most normal falls. With that in mind I don't expect it to save a phone that fell off a cliff like my nephew did, but other than that it should work. The other day I put my phone on the cab of a truck, my brain farted, it slipped and hit the pavement hard. My phone has no scratches or anything went wrong. I wiped the dust off the lid and that was it. I am using this for a Moto phone as it fits great. Also see TIP for an extra level of protection and peace of mind GET A CARABINER. I've always used a carabiner as the metal belt clips are the safest place on the suitcase. I attach the carabiner to a large metal belt clip, and then attach the other end to the belt loop of my pants, coat, or whatever. while I have never lost the suitcase by hooking it with a carabiner. They are small, barely noticeable and never fail! so here. IMHO this is the best type of case you can get if protecting your phone is your top priority. These cases may not look fashionable to some, but they protect valuable content like that found in our phones.
