I needed a simple WiFi ethernet adapter for my high-end Oppo smart Blu-ray player. The original proprietary WiFi stick was accidentally defective at the port, and since Oppo doesn't actually operate in the United States but the device does have an Ethernet port, I needed something to grab my router's WiFi signal and put it into a signal to convert the standard ethernet connection on my network, fast enough for video streaming etc. Finally, after failing with two previous devices of similar description, the third device I bought (I bought the first two cheap), passed the Vonets like a champ! Unfortunately, the instructions are a bit shaky, but fortunately there are some detailed descriptions in the test reports, as well as a few YouTube videos to help with the assembly. One might think that such an adapter would be popular, but finding the right one based on most descriptions of this type of device is not easy. It does the trick. RECOMMENDED!
