Suitable for a 7 year old child. Ideal for use with shorts.
Fits well for my 7 year old son who plays youth soccer. He's wearing underpants to support the cup so it stays comfortably in place and I've never seen him move around and he seems comfortable. It's just a cup. No strap or anything so you'll need something else to hold it in place.
