I bought these shoes to audition for a dance team. They spin very easily on the gym's polished wooden floor, but aren't too slippery. Literally the perfect middle ground. I like that the shoes are fairly flat so you don't have to worry about tipping or heeling while dancing like most jazz shoes do. Also, the shoes are very cute and look like normal Nike sneakers only without the logo. Some commenters say the shoe fits better but to be honest I almost wish I had bought a size smaller just to try them out as I have limited room in my toes. Just note that most casters use Zumba shoes. - I'm a young woman and I have a nice figure, so I don't have wide legs or anything like that. If you have a normal foot size, don't worry about going upstairs. If you are a dancer, you should know that your shoes should be a little tight so that you have a good grip on the floor.
