Beautifully finished and perfectly sized standard Melitta cones. However, the mesh is open enough to let in too many small particles for my liking. As it turns out, standard Melitta paper filters are perfect for "gluing" to the sides of the cone to induce an icy slow pass. This filter is the ideal solution as it is positioned away from the edges of the cone for rapid liquid flow and also fits onto the standard Melitta paper cone, so the combination of the Melitta base plastic cone, this filter and the Melitta standard paper cone a fast fluid flow ensured. Preparation of coffee without solids. Very satisfied. If it was good enough I would happily give 5 stars.
