I was one of those idiots who bought VonHaus attachments for my new VonHaus stick vacuum. I know there was a bold warning at the very top that this wouldn't work, which I kinda ignored. Not the brightest moment. Do not judge. However, they worked fine for my full-size heavy vacuum, so I left them. It's spring cleaning and I really want to brush the cat hair off the curtains, which is impossible with the big one. Long story short, I found this adapter (the second one I've bought in a different configuration), crossed my fingers that it would work, and ordered it. Look here - it fits! I finally solved this ridiculous homemade dilemma!
