I love, love, love this book. You can trace on the canvas with your attached drawings. Your drawings are 11x14. I take a sheet of parchment paper and glue charcoal to the back. Then place the parchment on the canvas and place her drawing on it. Now simply circle your drawing with a blunt, pointed object and it will transfer well without ruining your drawing. Your instructions are step by step and pretty easy to follow. Each instruction has an image. She will tell you which colors to mix. At some point you have to get creative because she instructs you to mix colors. She will also tell you which brushes to use. The instructions are for acrylic paints. It was a little difficult for me to follow because I use oils. Therefore, you have to wait for the part to dry. Otherwise I like her style. This is art, not photorealism. My picture turned out great!
