I used it for a smartphone in order to expand the available storage space (attach). I tried a few different less expensive counterparts, but the smartphone complained that the cards were too slow. I was able to put this one together without any issues, and I have not yet found any bugs or breaks. The speeds are consistent with those that were announced (plus or minus of course). I strongly suggest that you stop looking for something more affordable and go with something more conventional right away. I don't regret buying.
