This is one of those products that you know you need once you experience not having it. Simply put, it solves the issue of having a bulk water jug which is convenient for carrying large amounts of water, but using it in smaller quantities.With this kit, no longer do I have to lift the Rotopax to pour. And no more acciental over fills, wasting water.As most have reported and highlighted in the instructions, Do not Overtighten and Do not Cross thread the fitting.This kit is a little costly. However, depending on how you value your gear, this works and therefore is worth it.Would be a no-brainer if it was packaged complete with cap and washer.I went the extra mile and purchased a cap and washer. I don't ever want to try and disassemble this kit and I do not want to travel with the valve installed due to dirt and dust.Overall, I'd buy again.
