It appears to fit snugly in the cigarette lighter socket so is unlikely to dangle while driving. I use it to stream music from my iPhone to my car stereo. When switched on, it announces in plain text that it is looking for a BT device to pair with and will indicate when this has been successfully completed. It also tells me my car battery voltage is good. Then I press a button and it starts playing music from my phone. It's fairly compact, allowing me to put a drink in the cup holder without getting in the way. So far I haven't had a severe loss of sound, like with another similar device. I have not yet received or made any calls with this device.
