Review on Cooper Atkins DT300 0 8 Digital Thermometer Temperature by Chelsea Hicks

I have been using this DT300 thermometer for cooking and grilling at home several times a week for over 6 years. I've dropped it a few times, sometimes with the lid open, but I just put it back together and it continues to work. Until recently when it had too many drops and broke one of a couple of small wires inside and it took talent and tools to reconnect it so I will be buying another one. I also use a similar oval CDN that works well too. I like these models for several reasons: when inserted into food, they face the user so they're easy to read without turning your neck to the side, and they have a body that can double as a mount, ie it and your Hands are not directly above the heat source.
