It worked great for the first few hours, but then the keyboard suddenly became unresponsive and added unintended letters as I typed. For example, if I type G, I get GV. Shortly after that, my computer somehow crashes. It wasn't just my computer that had the problem (I tried it on my work computer and I got the same crash when typing). I was actually going to give this 3 stars, but I emailed support about the issue. It turned out I had a defective keyboard so they sent me another one. I'm typing with it right now and haven't had any problems so far. They were very helpful and responded in a timely manner. If the keyboard works, restart it by holding ESC and = until the power light comes on and it should automatically reconnect to the receiver. It wasn't in the instructions that came with it, which I found odd. Also, it is very easy to set up. There were no problems connecting the receiver to a mouse or keyboard.
