The S9 features a stunning Super AMOLED screen that covers the entire surface with no cutouts and curves on the sides for a virtually borderless display. Its slim body is easy to hold and slips in and out of your pocket easily. You get the idea: the Galaxy S9 is a beautiful phone. You already knew. The fact is, you don't block it with a bulky case. This Spigen case allows me to enjoy the design of my phone while protecting it. This case is perfect: the buttons are easy to press, the charging and headphone ports are easy to access, and the edges of the screen are easy to touch. To access the microSD/SIM slot on the top of the phone, you need to remove the case, which takes about 2 seconds. There's a curved notch on the back that leads to the fingerprint scanner for easier unlocking. This case, together with the screen protector, should offer enough protection in everyday life. I recommend a screen protector for every phone; Even with Gorilla Glass on the S9, it's better to be safe than sorry. Also, the case has no ribs on the sides for face-down drop protection (which would block the edges). I've had the same Spigen case on my S6 for over 2 years with no damage. Slim, secure, and cheap, it doesn't offer the same protection as the Otterbox, but it does the job and looks good.
