Let me say I have 5 house cats. A lot of hair. i love the glove Make sure you are going in the right direction to pick up the hair. I use it for everything. Sofa, bed and everything my cats lie on. Including carpets! I especially use a mitten before washing things my cats use. He cuts the hair that goes in the washer and dryer. Not all mittens or brushes with red on them are created equal. The only glove that works is Evercare! The nice thing is that you can wipe the hair anywhere your hand can go with a mitten. I have 4 in each room, I wouldn't have survived without them. I remove the hair from the mitten with wet fingers and rub them in a smooth direction. For me, this works better than rubbing the mitten backwards to erase it.
