No, they don't sound like $500 speakers, but they certainly don't sound like $12 speakers. I'm someone who needs clarity of sound more than VOLUME. No, these speakers won't burst your eardrums, but what they do is blow out stock car speakers when you're looking to replace cracked or worn OEM speakers. They come with covers not shown in the picture in case you need to install them in a place that is not e.g. B. behind a door panel. They also come with cables pre-wired to these speakers, but you'll most likely need to cut them off as you'll have enough cable to connect to your neighbor's car. When I turned them on with the OEM radio in a 2001 Buick Regal LS, the sound was impressive, unleashing the sound quality chained to cheap OEM paper speakers. They were screwed straight on, the holes lined up perfectly. For this money 5 stars. If you paid 200 for these speakers I would only give them 3 stars but for 12 bucks and a super easy install oh yeah! Drown out the little blue speakers!
