I don't have any problems with older tapes from other brands with these tapes.

I have a problem with this, slippage, glyphs, I don't know what to call it properly and the old TDK and JVC don't do that. It's frustrating that the new tapes are junk while the old, constantly used tapes continue to work and work. Once they do, they'll move on, so I have to throw them away. I only have one pack left that I bought and it's deteriorating.
