Review on SHIMANO Altus Right 7 Speed SL M315 7R by Choice Maynard

Many twist grip shifters are difficult for kids to use and my daughter's 7 speed is no exception. After trying every possible trick to reduce friction, I decided to ditch it and install this quick connect system instead. The device arrived 5 days earlier than expected and the installation was very quick as the device comes with a cable attached. Simply remove the old handlebar, rotary shifter and right brake lever. Then put in the new rear derailleur, brake lever and new handlebar grips (use some washing-up liquid to secure the grips). Then remove the old derailleur cable from the derailleur, pull it out of the lines, then thread the new cable through and secure. I just needed a little tweaking to get the gears shifting properly. 20 minutes later my 5 year old daughter effortlessly shifted up and down for the first time. I recommend this solution over any setting to toggle recording, especially for kids.
