The main feature of this soap is the scent, it's one of the strongest scents I've experienced in a soap. When I first used opened the box the scent immediately hit me. Extremely pleasant. However, after using it in the shower it became somewhat overpowering. The scent could clearly be detected, by my wife, outside of the bathroom and that's with a strong exhaust fan running. I can't quite decide if I like it or not but I don't think I'd want to use it on a regular basis. One thing I definitely liked was the exfoliating effect. It has very fine grit throughout the bar and it leaves my skin feeling slightly polished, I like it, especially on the face. At $9.50 for a 5oz bar it's kind of on the expensive side but not too outrageous. My normal exfoliating soap, last time I bought it, was $8 for a 8oz bar if bought in a six pack. I'll probably use this soap about once a week when I really need a boost waking up. Recommended but only if you like a strong scent.
