Review on πŸ’™ Maryton Foot Pumice Stone for Hard Skin Callus Removal and Scrubbing (Pack of 4) - Blue by Amanda Perkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not a pumice stone, less aggressive than pumice stone or glass stone.

If you're looking for something less aggressive than pumice stone or glass stone, then this is what you need! I would call it a foam block. This is not "pumice" nor a natural foot stone as described. I don't call it a rock as it looks like a block of hard foam or plastic. Probably best recommended for daily care or slightly dry skin. Not a bad product, just not as effective on calloused skin as a pumice or glass stone. I used pumice stone and similar items. They can be very effective when removed. When I read in the description that it was natural, I didn't believe for a minute that the light blue block was natural. However, I was looking for a pumice stone or something similar, so I ordered it. While it will probably work on tougher calluses over time, I'm guessing it will last 3 or 4 times as long. It is not as aggressive as pumice or other glass stones advertised for this purpose. Both sides are very similar in roughness, but you can feel the subtle difference. The block breaks and "splits" as described. It does not break as easily and does not wear out as quickly as other similar rods have been described. A block should last about a month with daily use. I paid $8 for 4 bars (about 4 months) so the price is reasonable. I'll save them for elbows and basic foot care, but I WILL buy real pumice for those hard, dry corns.
