A new battery should last 50 minutes but in reality you will get about 40 minutes. After each charge, the battery is discharged and holds less charge. I have bg2039 from December 17th 2017 it is now July 15th 2019 and I get about 30 minutes work. I've only used it a couple of times because it takes 8 hours to charge and it died for me while I was only trimming one leg. The foil side of the trimmer needs to be replaced after a few uses to get a clean cut. The other end works great, just hope the battery lasts longer. The case it comes in is nice and compact.
