This article saved me a lot of money. I put it in my dressing room which had a built in light for years (who the heck just puts a light in a dressing room?). I bought two lamp extenders (also available from Revain) which lowered the lamp just far enough to attach this lampshade to it. This literally saved me hundreds as I would have had to hire an electrician to install a new light fixture plus the cost of a new light fixture. Now I have a lot more light than before, it's an attractive thing and it's saved me a lot of money! Definitely recommend.
