Mini joystick base works well depending on the polarity when shipped. In the first set I received both bases were attracted to each other indicating opposite polarity. A polarity fires the left trigger each time the thumb is moved forward or depressed. The other polarity has no problems that I could see. If after installing the bases you kept activating the left trigger, swap the bases and everything should work fine. Unfortunately, my second set arrived, both bases with the same polarity to each other. Both bases repelled each other. This gives a 50/50 chance that they can jam the left trigger. I am lost. Both bases had the wrong polarity. They work fine for the right joystick position but are useless for the left. I would advise the seller to package all their kits with joystick bases that are opposite polarity. This ensures that one of the bases will work in the left position without interfering with left trigger pull. Now I have to re-order another set and hope to get one that works. PS I would recommend getting one of these test controller apps for XBOX. or Windows 10 are available on the App Store, so you don't need to test in-game. On Windows 10 you will need a wireless adapter if you don't have the new XBOX One S controllers with Bluetooth.
