Took me about 20-25 minutes to put the tree together but only because I wanted to light up the support post and around the tree. Otherwise less than 5 minutes would have passed. I love his look, he looks delicate, shiny and whimsical. Didn't see a piece of tinsel on the floor which is a plus for me. I think this goes without any highlights or embellishments of any kind and also looks nice if you want different sizes/colors. But I wanted more brilliance, so I added 200 white LEDs. If you want to hang some decorations that should be fine, but I would suggest small/light decorations so the tree doesn't lose its shape or balance. If you want to put it on a windy porch just place a counterweight on its base to stabilize it as I think the wind will knock it over. But I personally am in love with my delicate Christmas tree.
