Review on Dr. Brown's Soft-Tip Toddler Feeding Spoons: 6 Pack for Easy Feeding, Multi-Colored Design by Andy Mitts

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works, but not perfectly

These spoons do what you want - they have tiny, flexible spoon heads that work well for scooping porridge from a bowl into my five month old . .. old mouth. He enjoys chewing on the spoon and trying to help me get it in his mouth, often resulting in food flying all over the place. As others have pointed out, heads become slightly discolored when eating certain foods. I've included a photo of two purple spoons - one after a single use with carrots (and after being washed in the dishwasher) and one that hasn't been used yet. Also, despite reading about this in other reviews and being warned, I still placed the spoon in the bowl in such a way that it fell out because the handle is heavier than the spoon head. You should either turn it over in the bowl to redistribute the weight, or get a very wide bowl, or put it on the table instead.

Pros
  • Dishwasher safe and sterilizable
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
