Advantages: Very precise readings. Instant PT conversions. Acceptable price for digital. Retro fits into an existing distributor. Bad: Batteries were dead when I received the item. Not very strong, one of them broke from the height of the belt after the first fall. YJ rubber boots don't fit them. They turn off automatically pretty quickly. This requires an expensive, uniquely sized battery. And when vacuum is pulled, it doesn't read microns or inches, it reads negative PSI. They could be better and MUCH more durable but are very accurate on superheat and low suction tests.
