Looking for a replacement Oculus Quest 2 faceplate I've researched several options and interviewed other active users and this one came highly recommended. The face shield comes with the Quest 2 with some wobble, a common complaint about this device has been "slight leakage" due to the thin plastic, I ordered a black device to try and limit this. I can't speak for other colors but I did notice light leaking in a few spots resulting in the device not fitting properly. This allowed the built-in vents in the plastic around the edges to let in light, albeit very little. Once installed correctly there were no light leaks again, this may vary with other colors but I doubt it. The overall quality of the plastic is good, even if it's a bit off. The protection itself is strong but flexible around the edges, giving it a softer feel. So if you like the headset's snug fit, you may need to tighten it more than usual. The difference in padding between the two included full-length bezels is close to zero. . So I can't say which will be a "comfortable" pillow or not. Wings add extra padding for users with large faces, but can be useful for users with narrower faces who notice a loose fit or light around the edges of their headphones. Please note that this face shield does not work on the eyes. a lens extender so if you need this for use with your Quest it may not be a good replacement/additional device as it may not have the clearance you need for your glasses. For the price it's not a bad add-on face shield over the OEM part and overall it's not a bad face shield. I wasn't dissatisfied with the quality of the product, it just wasn't what I was looking for.
