I got 14" Ice Blonde. I still washed them in purple shampoo mixed with water in the gut and then just dunked them in the mixed water and then immediately pulled them out and rinsed with warm water to firm them up, but for the most part they had the color that I wanted. I use a stick to curl them so they don't break as much or leave creases. I like hair clips more than ribbons because they are easier to hide and don't damage the hair like ribbons. I have fine hair that I work on because I lost my hair after having my son and I've tried duct tape and it damaged my hair. I always get compliments :)
