Hopefully they will fit next year. They were shorter than regular swim trunks, which is what I was looking for. Perfect length and good fabric but not the flimsy fabric we love the most. They have a mesh lining. They're a little baggy at the waist, but the drawstring helps fix that. They seem to chafe my little boy's thighs every time he wears them, so I'm hoping it's just because they're a bit big. He's used to wearing tight shorts like swim trunks - he hates the feel of wet, baggy swim trunks on his legs. We will try them next year, I hope we have better luck.
