Review on πŸ•·οΈ Spider Tool Holster Measuring Tape by Bryan Gilliam

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I don't use a tape measure without this

It's the little things that make the job so much easier. Trying to hook a regular tape measure requires two hands unless it's too loose and then falls off. I do plumbing, walk up and down stairs and cut pipes. Almost every time using regular duct tape, I've left the duct tape on the floor after cutting the pipe without realizing it until I go after it when I go back up the stairs. It just makes life so much easier. My only negative, but not that big. This is what I use on the Stanley Fatmax 16' and 25' and I need to sand down the plastic so I can glue this. Once you've done that, you can't go back to the original state. Which is not a problem for me because I will never do that. I used another system that reused the screw but it broke very quickly. This lasted a year during which I used it 5 times a week and probably hooked and unhooked 50+ times a day. A clip broke on me. Only the spring was broken, but it has been used many times over the course of a year and can still be used, but it does not lock automatically. Maybe you can hook the band with one hand and you will have no problem with it falling off. You might not forget your tape after you cut or drilled a hole. But for me it just makes my life so much easier. Check out their other apps too. I use it on almost all of my Milwaukee power tools. This is a velcro strap that fits any tool. And the clamp can screw into anything. I have mine on my m18 hackzall with an m18-9.0 battery that weighs 7 pounds and a hook that I attached to my ladder. This way, instead of leaving the saw on the floor or on a tray where I need primer and glue, I can hang it on the side of the ladder so it doesn't get in the way. I also have one on my M12 Impact that I sometimes carry on my belt.

Pros
  • . Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
