Finally found one that fits my Tiguan (with modifications)

Tried a few of these seatback locks before. Both were too wide. I don't want the usual style that leaves black marks and dents on my headliner. Anyway, this one worked with a little modification. I had to use a hacksaw to cut about 3 inches from each end of the side piece (4 cuts total) for it to fit. You'll see what I mean when you have to do it yourself. Now the thing fits, hooray! It's strong enough for my very cold dog. The headrest attachment may need to be strengthened if you have a more active dog. I would use reusable rubber zip ties or something similar if I were in this situation.
