I bought brown vegan leather - the color is very pleasant, neutral, stylish. I'm not a huge fan of gold hardware throughout, but it complements the color of the handbag. The silky inner lining feels nice, but then again, the brown-yellow-gold chain lining design isn't my cup of tea. The size is spot on and the strap is adjustable enough that even a petite person like me won't have to worry about a shoulder bag dangling from my waist, although I wish the strap had a belt loop to control sagging. I prefer to store my iPhone 12 (in a thin, lightweight Pitaka case) in the outer slip pocket, but the pocket gets too cramped when I stuff my double-zip wrist pouch, glasses case, small cosmetic pouch, and hand sanitizer spray into the main compartment. (And that's my rationale for finding a minimalist zippered card holder) From what I can see, the price is right, the style is simple and not flashy. Only time will tell how this bag will handle my daily commute. I'm considering getting a cream colored one.
