My favourite underwear was 2006 2Xist NoShow trunks, but they are no longer made with the same low-rise design. I wanted the 2006 design's cotton material, slightly loose waist fit, accomodating pouch, and very low rise. These are a fine replacement. I'm statistically average in all ways (5'10" 158 lbs with a 32-33" waist; 5.5" down there), and the large size fits the best. Medium is a little snug. They do the important job of "containment." The part of a guy that can fall out of a pouch area during the day is comfortably kept in place. The trick is to snug the material up under your bulge; it stays there all day. The only odd aspect is the feel of the material. It's cardboardy… not uncomfortably so, but just unusual for a cotton/spandex blend. However, after 10 to 15 washes the material begins to feel much softer.
