I must have 6 branded audio interfaces that I've bought over the years that no longer have windows driver support. I love that this little mixer uses the USB protocols to be a true plug-n-play audio interface. No drivers required. Sure, it only has two channels, but it's bulletproof. I use a 32-channel Tascam SSD mixer/recorder for multitrack recording and transfer raw wave files to a PC-based DAW for fine-tuning and mastering. Tascam OS will never leave me! This little mixer/interface brought me back to direct PC recording. Very low latency. BTW I use Reaper as DAW and before that Cakewalk - until Gibson bought it and went bankrupt. For the best free DAWs, check out Cakewalk by BandLab and Audacity. enjoy music
