Review on 👶 Leisure Arts Book: Baby It's You - 10 Quilts & Bags by Shantel Griffin

I recently received Amy Hamberlin's Baby It's You - 10 Quilts and Bags eBook for review on Bellaonline - The Voice of Women Quilting. in this post. I will say that in my view this quilting book is not for true beginner quilters - there are details in quilting that require a little more skill and can be confusing for a beginner quilter. Like I said, the book is packed. really stylish chic little quilts and bags you can make for someone you love. When it comes to color selection, Amy has a special quality - all quilts are kept in soft pastel colors and are particularly pleasant for a child's room in soft pastel colors. Each quilt has a bit of "bling" in the form of delicate appliqués, ruffled edges or other decorative 3D effects. Amy used a large frame that looks great on these specialty quilts. The edges of quilts aren't the usual square - Amy loves to add jagged and scalloped edges to her quilts and she does it very effectively. The bags that Amy included in this post include two bags, a very stylish diaper bag and a tissue bag. great - although I sometimes have a hard time deciphering the actual block when so many "busy" fabrics are involved - but I know this is a popular way of making quilts these days. The patterns are easy to understand and this book uses simple quilting language. The instructions seem very wordy - but I think quilting is very complex and clear instructions accompanied by clear diagrams and photos. This book has it in abundance. I believe that each of the quilts and bags in Baby It's You will make a wonderful gift for an expectant mother. Amy Humberlin has put a lot of time and effort into creating a really chic and super cute baby quilt pack. I highly recommend this edition.
