I LOVE these for my monitor headphones on stage. KZ only makes better headphones for listening to music, but for the money and for this application, these little headphones are my favorite. In recorded music they seem to lack a slightly shy side at low mids, but in a live performance situation where mids are plentiful, you won't miss them. They seem to be a little more efficient than some of my other KZs, meaning they're a little louder for the same amount of input. Another thing to consider is that they sound and perform better after they've been broken in. Let them play on the radio overnight and I think you'll find them flattening out and flattening out the low mids. By price? Perfect!
