I've done a lot of research on popcorn. I had 3 hot air poppers, 2 crazy electric stir poppers, and a couple of electric skillets. None of them provided the popcorn quality I was looking for. After reading hundreds of reviews of all kinds of popper options, I decided on this one. I couldn't be happier! That is amazing! Well there are a few things I should mention while giving an honest review. FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS FIRST! They are designed to be used with a small amount of oil. Coconut oil is highly recommended and I totally agree! Second, don't overcrowd! Half a cup of popcorn is the maximum you can use and be successful. Third, find good quality popcorn. I found the "Hulless" view here on Revain, it's amazing! So gentle and good. In fact, as long as you follow directions and use quality ingredients, you'll always have "perfect movie theater popcorn". This popper is worth the extra money! I love the lifetime warranty and the fact that it's an American company.
