We bought this to make shade sails on cable to shade our transom windows since our neighbors cut all of their shade-providing trees down behind us. House faces west. We used a soldering iron with a modified blade-like tip to cut and burn the edges. Bought the hardware kit to anchor to the house and the clips to run the cable through. Grommets on the side edges to hold in place at attachment points on the house. It all worked great with a very professional look. Our house is definitely cooler in the afternoons now! Extremely pleased with this and the other products and our final result. Of note is this product does have some stretch to it and getting your measurements right is a tad tricky.
