I bought a poncho for the whole family for a recent trip to a major amusement park. Everything I've read said to bring a poncho, but my family doesn't like being hot and sticky (something you get with lower quality ponchos). I can say with full confidence that these ponchos helped us create the best memories of the entire trip. Easy for kids to put on and take off, easy to fold up when they're ready, there's an easy-access pocket for small items they want access to, there's an option to close the neck area fairly high if your kid is smaller (which means the poncho is too big…buttons pull up high enough to close any necessary gaps around the neck) and we deliberately continued our adventures comfortably in the pouring rain, staying completely dry underneath. I would buy them again 100 times and recommend them to anyone who asks. Seriously, if you need a quality poncho for EVERY event your family comes across...highly recommend this.
