I agree with another reviewer who stated that the quilt is uneven in weight - there are definitely no beads on the outer squares but that doesn't stop the quilt from working because the mean squares are well weighted . In fact, it can prevent it from slipping? Speaking of fabric - I'm 10 lbs / gray stars and it's so soft. My cat (pictured) is crazy about the wrong side of this blanket, and the star/cotton side is great too. There was a sewing error that can easily be corrected by knotting the threads. I don't think it affects the quality of the blanket too much. I also bought it for myself as I think 10 pounds and the size is enough and I like the heaviness. It was a pleasure to use! You don't have to spend more than $100 or buy such a large blanket, it works well and has good materials.
