Great bag but the brush slots are useless

Big, like a small purse. The quality is good, the material is comfortable and easy to care for. I can fit more makeup and items in this bag than I need for a week. I love that it has a zip pocket inside to keep things separate. However, I bought it partly because of the brush storage slots on the lid. Well, they're useless. Nothing stays in place. The compartments should have elastic straps or something but they don't and anything I tried to put inside just falls out when I open the bag. I think I'll return this and look for another bag with a better design to keep the brushes.
