There are no instructions for removing the back of the Tab A. You will need to google it yourself. Using the tools they sent, I was unable to remove the back of the unit. I stopped because I was damaging the bevel; their nylon tools were inadequate, they bent and crushed, were not thin enough to fit between the back and bevel. Finally I found quality instructions for replacing the battery on ifixit.com and they used different tools, a "thin metal spudger" to remove it. That made much more sense. Now I will have to order quality spudger tools at a cost of an additional $8 - 10. It was also much easier to gently tap the spudger with a mallet to pop the back. That kept if from slipping and messing up the bevel.I do not know the quality of the battery, but i assume it is similar / the same as all the other batteries.
