Bought this to go to our dressing room. We used to have a regular pull chain ball light and had to replace it 2 times in 2 years because the pull mechanism broke. I wanted to try something different and came across a motion activated light. After a bit of shopping and reading a lot of reviews, I settled on this one based on the price, size, and the brightness of the light. We like it very much. I don't miss reaching for a chain with my hand in the dark! The light is white not yellow, it illuminates my 16ft closet perfectly from top to bottom, much better than the old light ever did. The motion sensor is great, it stays on as long as I'm moving and turns off pretty quickly when I walk. Mine is set to come on all the time, not just when night falls. I should note: As someone else mentioned here, there is a very subtle "glow" at night, don't know why, maybe it needs some light to detect motion? I really have no idea. So if it bothers you because your closet is next to your bed or something, then I don't recommend it. The entrance to my toilet is in the bathroom, so now I have a night light in the bathroom too! Will definitely buy again if I need a different indoor motion light.
