Review on πŸ‘š Lightweight Knitted Checked Classic Australian by Jeffrey Johnston

A nice big scarf with an interesting and fun design; Merino wool is soft and warm.

Great scarf. I ordered the camel/grey version and the pattern is completely different to anything I have (or seen). This is a fun and interesting design. This is a weave in which the color and/or pattern of some blocks are reversed on the opposite side (so a gray square with a pattern of black stitches woven into it is black with gray stitches on the other side). Yellowish-brown blocks with gray tinges reversed to gray-black with brown tinges, etc. Wavy herringbone blocks are the same on both sides. The sides have tiny stitches and there are a few patches with a thread or two missing, but nothing breaks the integrity of the scarf. The ends of the scarf have a short soft fringe. The scarf is light and quite thin but feels warm enough. It's very soft and falls beautifully. It can be a standard size for this type of scarf (about 1 foot wide and just under 6 feet long), so it's enough to wrap it around your neck once or twice and let the ends hang down, or it can be tied in a variety of ways will. The scarf arrived nicely flattened, folded and tucked into a papΓ© fold with the Tonten logo and presented in a lovely bronze colored box, perfect for giving as a gift. The scarf is untagged but the tags inside the box indicate that it is made from 100% Australian Merino wool. The current price of $25.99 is very reasonable for this warm, cozy and comfortable scarf.

Cons
