This is not microfiber. His plush. Doesn't absorb as well as microfiber. However, I kept it because it still serves to condition my wet hair without the need for a towel. I wish it was more absorbent. But the price was very low, it's very soft and cute. I don't use a button because I'm too eager to button it up, so I just tuck the ponytail under the section at the back of my head. Works perfectly. The button function is still good when I wanted it. I still recommend a hair towel, but if you want it to really pick up water from your hair, it definitely won't.
