They block my fan's wind noise
I have a small fan on my desk that I can't use due to wind noise in my headphones during a conference call. I took them out and put one on my Logitech headset and now I can use my fan and make in-game calls and chats without the annoying wind constantly blowing off the mic. I've also put it on my Jabra headset at work and got the same great results.
