Review on πŸ’¨ High-Speed 10Gb SFP+ Network Card NIC with Broadcom BCM57810S Chip and Dual SFP+ Port – PCI Express X8 for Windows Server, Linux, VMware by Brandon Guidroz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Runs on Debian 10 Linux and Windows 10

Windows 10, worked out of the box. It took me a bit of time to get it working on Linux as it recognized the card and showed the interfaces, but I had to dig into the boot log (dmesg) to find out that the drivers weren't loading. I downloaded the drivers, installed them and BOOM! I also work on Linux! I see no need to add 10G network adapters to my other devices, I will definitely consider re-ordering these results. sec 53 1.76MB[5] 1.00-2.00s 1.09GB 9.38Gbps 9 2.02MB[5] 2.00-3.00s 1.09GB 9, 41Gbps 32 1.004MBps[5] 0.01MBps[5] GB 9.38Gbps 2 2.01MB[5] 4.00-5.00s 1.11GB 9, 57Gbps 44 2.04MB[5] 5.00-6.00s 1010MB 8.48Gbps 153 1.11-7MB 1-7.6MB[5] 6.00Gbps 131 2.01MB[5] 7.00-8.00s 1.04GB 8.97Gbps 15 2.01MB[5] 8.00-9.00s 1.12GB 6Gbps 9.5 2.02 MB[5] 9.00 - 10.00 s 8.00 ss 163 2.03 MB - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ ID] Send Interval Bitrate Retr[ 5] 0.00-10.00s 10.6GB 9.08Gb/s 668 stations[ 5] 0.00-10.00s 10.6GB 9.08Gb/ s receiving ver works (I had to save the results of iperf before shutting down this server), but for the most part I get 9+ Gbps. .
