This toy is very tough. Our Golden Retriever is a dedicated chewer and he had the tail chewed in pieces in short order. A tusk was next - however the stuffing is compartmented. Chew one leg, the body stays stuffed. Chew one tusk, the head stays stuffed, etc.All told, it hung out for a few months - the longest of any soft toy yet. It outlasted several 'indestructible' toys made out of some type of rubber.I'm buying another and suspect it will last longer as our dog is older and a bit easier on some toys now.
